is there any way to make my screenshots ignore the noscreenshare window rules?

Well the example is hinting what the syntax is, and hyprctl setprop --help confirms the order: setprop <regex> <property> <value> [lock]. Also strings with wild cards should be quoted, but I don't think "class:.*" will work like you want anyway, as it just finds the first window. You can probably loop through hyprctl -j clients though...

in essence what i'd want is to wrap my screenshot command with

hyprctl dispatch setprop noscreenshare ".*" 0

hyprctl dispatch setprop noscreenshare ".*" unset

right?

Pretty funny to completely ignore the syntax I gave you and tell me I'm wrong. It's still <regex> <property> <value> and you keep doing <property> <regex> <value> for some stupid reason...

but it still doesn't help at all, still get a black screenshot after running hyprctl dispatch setprop "class:.*" noscreenshare 0

also tried hyprctl dispatch setprop "class:.*" noscreenshare 1
