"bind ... movewindow, u" does not work

I'm using dwindle layout. All of the following binds work, except when I want to move a window up.

bind = $mainMod CTRL, H, swapwindow, l
bind = $mainMod CTRL, J, swapwindow, d
bind = $mainMod CTRL, K, swapwindow, u
bind = $mainMod CTRL, L, swapwindow, r

bind = $mainMod CTRL SHIFT, H, movewindow, l
bind = $mainMod CTRL SHIFT, J, movewindow, d
bind = $mainMod CTRL SHIFT, K, movewindow, u    #DOES NOTHING
bind = $mainMod CTRL SHIFT, L, movewindow, r

maybe you have something else bound as well to the same combo?

Also try t just to make sure, t/u should be interchangeable

Is "up" on a second, vertically-stacked monitor, perhaps?

There is definitely no other bind, at least not in my hyprland config.

I am not trying to move the window to another monitor.

Does this function properly for you?
