I made a short script to imitate this behavior but it's not quite there since the focus still leaves the active window for a short time which can cause problems in certain applications (mostly games). |

It would be very useful to me to be able to switch which workspace is displayed on a monitor that is not currently focused without switching focus to that monitor. Like the BSPWM-function 'bspc -a '.
In my BSPWM-setup I used a helper-script to figure out if the workspace I was requesting was present on the focused monitor or not. For workspaces on the focused monitor I would use 'bspc -f' to focus the requested workspace and for workspaces on the unfocused monitor I would use 'bspc -a' to display the workspace without focusing on it. I would then use a separate key-bind to switch the focus to other monitors.
Could perhaps something like workspacesilent be impletemented in Hyprland so that the function could be replicated? Or maybe a smart option that lets me chose to always have that behavior?
