Keyboard shortcut to switch focus between floating and tiled windows?

Problem:

When I have both floating and tiled windows on the same workspace, there doesn’t seem to be a built-in way to switch focus between them using the keyboard.

For example:

• I open a floating window (like a dialog or preview), then return focus to a tiled window.
• Now I want to go back to the floating window — but regular movefocus/cycleprev doesn't seem to reach it.
• Likewise, floating windows don't appear in the normal focus cycle either.

Why this matters:

In workflows with temporary floating windows (e.g. popups, editors, previews), having to reach for the mouse to switch focus breaks the keyboard-driven flow. It also makes it hard to quickly review or close floating windows without manually moving the pointer.
Questions:

1. Is there currently a keyboard shortcut or dispatch command to:

   • Focus the next floating window?

   • Toggle focus between floating and tiled windows?

2. If not, would it be possible to support something like:

   hyprctl dispatch focusfloating

   or a keybind action to cycle through floating windows explicitly?

3. Alternatively, is there a way to make movefocus/cycleprev, etc, include floating windows more consistently?

Any advice, scripts, or workarounds are appreciated. And if this isn’t possible yet, consider this a feature request — I believe it would really improve the experience for hybrid workflows!
