Yes, this also happens when I change the config file instead.
Nope. If my monitors are configured before starting hyprland, everything is fine. |

I think I might enjoy something like shikane? easier to configure than having a custom script that handles every event |

Per default I have this configuration for my laptop in place:
eDP-1here is the internal laptop screen. If I am putting my laptop into the dock, I run this script to configure my external monitor and disable the internal screen:What happens after that is, that I can still switch workspaces and existing applications are running. But if I try to start new apps, such as Firefox or rofi I get errors like this:
