How are you launching the game? Using gamescope? Using wine-wayland? |

I've also been unable to get HDR working on hyprland, neither on MPV or on wine with the wayland driver. No combination of options has got it working so far |

I fumbled around with this one too now. Auto HDR for gaming doesn't seem to work, but enabling HDR for everything and the game seems to suddenly recognize it... hyprland.config steam launch options

so, since the new hdr options got put in (and
experimental:xx_color_management_v4got dropped as being the recommended way to do hdr I guess?), I've been trying to get hdr working again in hyprland, but to no avail.regardless of the options I use around
cmin my monitors config, or therenderoptions around color management, I can no longer get either mpv or (more importantly) gamescope to detect hdr support and actually render things with hdr.notably, when I change the monitor config to
cm=hdrorcm=hdredid, I can see the monitor correctly change to an hdr mode, and render the window borders and mouse cursor way too bright (hdr bugs reported by others). but even then, these apps do not see hdr support, and refuse to render in hdr.I'm on arch, amdgpu (rdna 2), LTS kernel, I'm not really sure what magical sauce I'm missing to make this work. my current configuration around this as of the last combo I tested looks like this, with no explicit
cmconfig on the monitor:suggestions about what dumb thing I'm probably doing wrong are greatly appreciated! 😅
