I'm not sure if this an issue with the OSM upstream or the data extraction -- hope it's OK I'm reporting this here:
AF.geojson has the field properties.osm_data.official_name set to "Cộng hòa Hồi giáo Afghanistan", which is Vietnamese for "Islamic Republic of Afghanistan". I'm not sure why it picked Vietnamese -- I'm assuming the official name should probably be in Dari (Persian).
