Open Deep Research is an exciting launch opportunity. It'd be really great to have a blow by blow account of how it was designed: eg

  1. How do you decide which external imports are allowed?
  2. How do you decide which tools to use? Naively, a deep research agent only needs an LLM, web search and web page extractor yet this agent has a fascinating array of custom tools.
