There are no issues on my NUC 12 (x86-64, bare-metal) with USB SkyConnect and USB Aeotec Z-Stick 7. The system is running normally. |

FWIW, this update failed several times on my Pi5. After the Core 2025.2.0. update; it worked on the 1st try. |

My problem was Adguard blocking something... I disabled Adguard, ran the update, and the update worked. If you're running Adguard, Pi-Hole, or other DNS tools, try disabling them and running the update. |

USB devices stopped working after update to 14.2 on rpi4-64, downgraded to 14.1 and devices worked again (zigbee and DSMR Smart Meter) |

Update seemed to fail I pressed the update button and went to bed. When i woke up HA was still running fine but failed to do the update, still running on OS 14.1. I did not had to manually reboot the PI though as other have mentioned. (PI5) |

Same here. I have tried the update several times and every time it just boots back to 14.1. It seems to go through the motions but ultimately just doesn't update. Starting state: Journal/log of the update process: But after the restart, nothing has changed, still on 14.1. I have gone through this motion several times and it's the same every time. |

Same issues as other are stating here on a Pi5. I tried 3 times to update from 14.1 to 14.2. After the update it reloads and takes a good 30 minutes or more to come back up at which time I get SSL handshake errors. I then hard power cycle the Pi and then it will come back up, and still on 14.1. No custom integrations, all basic things. Stuck there. Not booting. If I plug or unplug usb device, I can see it on screen. Problem since 14.0 (on 13.X - kernel panic and reboot)

Also have troubles with this one. Running HAOS in virtual machine manager on a synology NAS. 14.1 worked fine, 14.2 just doesn't. Got this error when trying to close a cover : The above exception was the direct cause of the following exception: Traceback (most recent call last): |

Since updating to 14.2 from 14.1 my machine freezes completely from time to time. Installed bare metal on Intel i5 8500, 32GB ram, 512GB M.2. |

Updated to 14.2 from 14.1 and machine started rebooting itself every day. Checked the logs and couldn't find a cause. |

Interestingly, I'm seeing the same on an i5-8500T (Dell Optiplex) running 14.2, where I get periodic random reboots. Not at your frequency though - my last was after two weeks of uptime. Nothing in I've run memtest on it for a couple of hours with no errors reported so while I'm not ruling out a hardware issue, it's not an obvious, glaring one. |

My machine rebooted on 14.1 after a few days so it looks like my reboots were not caused by 14.2. Made my machine headless (unplugged HDMI monitor, USB keyboard and mouse) at the same time and it looks like that may be the cause of the reboots. I went back to HA OS 14.2, updated the HA Core to 2025.2.2, and plugged everything back in and haven't had a reboot in a week. My BIOS is not the latest so now I'm thinking that a BIOS update may fix the problem. Other things I have done. Ran memtest86 for a whole day without errors. Removed hacs and associated apps as well as Studio Code Server all of which I had updated. This did not stop the reboots. Was going to remove these anyway for various reasons. I may never know the root cause of the reboots but I have a running system again on the latest software. |

Further update on mine. I've replaced the RAM with a new 16GB Crucial stick and it still rebooted after a day or so. I've now swapped my Google Coral (used for Frigate) from the internal one on the A+E slot to an external USB version to try to rule this out as a possibility. I may even just switch Frigate to a dedicated container on another box to see if that helps. At a massive 2 days uptime so far... |
