Tile Icon Background > Add style support via theme or configuration

Hi together,

I have removed everywhere the background-color at the icons via my theme as I don't like that. My target is to achieve this everywhere via theme so that I do not have to add everywhere card_mod.

Currently I have not found an option for styling via theme nor via card_mod.

It would be really nice that the user can choose the visual representation here via theme or configuration.
