While not specifically what you asked for, you can do this today with the Cloudflared addon (https://github.com/brenner-tobias/addon-cloudflared/) with the "additional hosts" setting (https://github.com/brenner-tobias/addon-cloudflared/blob/main/cloudflared/DOCS.md#option-additional_hosts). This sets up a true reverse proxy using the cloudflare network as the "front door" and is a free alternative to the Nabu Casa setup. |

You can also try the Firefox addon - https://community.home-assistant.io/t/home-assistant-add-on-firefox/558672 |

Currently, Home Assistant does not provide a built-in way to proxy requests to local devices when accessing the interface via an external URL (e.g., Nabu Casa). This leads to issues when embedding local services using an iframe card, as they become inaccessible when Home Assistant is accessed remotely.
A native reverse proxy feature in Home Assistant would allow local devices to be accessible through Home Assistant’s domain, solving mixed-content issues and ensuring compatibility with both local and external access.
