Feature request: Will the ability to lock block content be added in the future？

At present, I want to store some content in the block persistently, and rarely modify it, but often cause error deletion, can add the function of locking the content of the block, let me control the content of the block can not be modified.
I didn't find this feature.
If there is this function, can tell me how to operate it.
If not, are there plans to add this feature in the future?
