Setting "Hide Window titlebar" to maximised works. Setting it to "always" breaks it and it does not work maximised or not .

Interesting, for me gnome-terminal has a titlebar regardless of which "Hide window titlebars" setting I pick.

i also use "always" hide titlebars and never noticed issues, with gnome terminal or anything, until recently. maybe the Gnome 47 update?  I also had to switch to wayland since some update has been causing xorg to crash right now too...  not sure if any of that's related, haven't had time to tackle it. but now gnome terminal is the only app so far i've noticed that is somehow sneaking its titlebars into my environment...
