As a word it is correct. Whether or not it is appropriate for use would depend on the context you are using it in.
For example: There was an unspecified number of people in the room.
is correct in the context but
example: The house is unspecified
Though grammatically correct, the context makes it weird to use it and in this context it would not be appropriate to use that word.

"unspecified" may look strange in the ticket filter choices.
What would be a natural word in this case?

Why not use the word "any" as it is used in issue filters of Redmine?
