Hi, thank you for the appender.

What about:

to limit max items in the log list? i.e. max=1000 and auto-delete if more than max: ltrim 0 max
to limit time to live? i.e. list TTL= 24 hrs etc.
to separate log lists by day: log_2015_11_16, log_2015_11_17 etc.
