Is there a way to set a custom IP address for http tests, similar to how curl --resolve works?

curl --resolve example.com:443:127.0.0.1 https://example.com

I would like to have the feature and I might even be tempted to try and implement it myself.

Here is an example how to build this with Go: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40624248/golang-force-http-request-to-specific-ip-similar-to-curl-resolve
