As I've embarked on deploying Santa in our company, the basics like allowing an app to run by its binary hash or certificate have been straightforward, but more complex areas like transitive allowlisting are more challenging. I imagine in many cases (certainly ours anyway) Santa is being deployed by IT Ops people who often have little knowledge of stuff like code signing, compiling applications, homebrew etc.
So I wonder if a 'Recipes' section in the documentation might be helpful? A recipe might cover which Santa config keys you need to set, how to troubleshoot the specific recipe, sample/recommended settings/rules. Some topics I am thinking of -
