While working on #533 I found out that mport project isn't working on HPS platform.

  1. Project menu -> exercise cfu op0 fails: 
    Exercise CFU Op0
a: 8edcba99 b:81234568 cfu=b9ffa3a1
***FAIL
  2. Benchmarks (e.g. strided loads benchmark) cause system to hang after printing message Running [...] benchmark

Tested with freshly installed conda environment and current main HEAD (d67c3b9).
