Feature request: exclude specific folder from search results

Is it possible to exclude some folder for search results?

After looking through the codebase, I don't think this is possible at the moment.

However in my opinion this would be a valuable feature to add.

If "Exclude from search results" was meant, maybe the hack from #1112 still works and can help?
