Getting this error while trying to install this software.

This is an issue with your distribution, you should ask there.

(The error basically says: the version you are trying to install is not compatible with your GNOME shell; you'll need at least (Debian package version) 0.21.1-2 - this is the version that started to be compatible with GNOME Shell 43.)
