List of presenting symptoms are captured in Symptoms. If no symptoms are indicated this field will remain blank. If the source data explicitly indicates the patient experienced no symptoms this field will also remain blank.
To clearly distinguish any asymptomatic cases a variable to indicate Asymptomatic could be created, or Asymptomatic could be added to an available dictionary list under the existing Symptoms variable.

Suggest addition of variable to indicate 'Asymptomatic' - it was reported in the source that the patient did not experience any symptoms.

Recommendation: await results of Delphi to determine if this is an essential data item - parameters are listed that refer to asymptomatic cases and transmissions. Rarely reported however.
