As the name indicates, I'd like to be able to customize the trailing line message format.
For example, the "Lion - dapplion..."
The setting could be gitlens.trailingLine.format so it is consistent with the theming settings and use the same syntax as gitlens.blame.format.
gitlens.trailingLine.format
gitlens.blame.format
I'm open to develop this if you provide just a bit of guidance to shortcut onboarding on to the project.
