It's not intended to work on Mac, I have no idea if it could with Mono or such. That being said, there's a very good save editor for Mac already, not developed by me, called BorderTool 2 which should work for your purposes.

it doesn't work tho—i think it is because of the fight for sanctuary dlc but im not sure, but it cant open my saves where ive done that

Ah, bummer. I don't know of any other save editors for Mac.
