Should we provide a checklist of things to do to comply with standards? If so, how:

  • we could have people use https://usethis.r-lib.org/reference/use_release_issue.html with a custom set of bullets. however, the user would have to do this in R, and I'm guessing it wouldn't work if you were inside of a Python project locally, but I don't know
  • github issue template. we can provide various issue template options and one of them could be a standards checklist - this would probably only make sense if put in https://github.com/getwilds/.github so it shows up for every repo in WILDS
