Cannot turn off SSL_CERT_REQS for use with Redis 7+ #7200

I'm deployed on Heroku but I think this would be a required option on a number of hosts.

I need to be able to turn off SSL_CERT_REQS to allow connection to Redis. There doesn't seem to be a setting to allow this?

Have I missed something?
