Hello! The physical layout is not compatible. 6pin vs 8pin and incompatible GND pin location. I bet one could make an adapter board easily though. The code looks very similar at a quick glance. I suspect it would either work out of the box, or be very trivial to make changes so it works. I could add an unused footprint to the next revision of PCB that would accept the 6-pin sensors. What is your use case for absolute pressure? |

Thanks for your prompt reply!
I see that the pin out is not exactly the same..but I can manage in some
way
What I check better looking inside the two data sheets is that the I2C
register address and content is exactly the same..same for the pseudo code
reported .
So I assume that the ESPhome component you use for pressure reading should
be perfectly working
My application is for composite moulding oven..need to check temperature
and pressure in absolute value (negative)
Thanks for any further suggestions

Thanks for your work on this project—I’m interested in measuring differential pressure before and after my HVAC filters (integrated with HA) to support filter replacement decisions. After studying the documentation, I’m a bit confused about the simplest part, i.e.,the physical layout. Where are you placing this device (noting your magnet reference)? Inside or outside your HVAC unit? And how/where are you routing the tubes? I would imagine one tube is immediately upstream the filter and the other is downstream — just wondering how/where folks are physically routing the device and tubing. Would love a picture if not inconvenient. TIA. |

Hi
I would like to know it the board is compatible with single gauge pressure sensr (I2C series) like the XGZP6859D series from CF sensor
Not sure if the I2C mapping is the same so kindly ask your opinion
thanks for any help you can provide
