What would you like to be added:
When a resource of type openidconnect is reconciled the controller should populate its .status. As a bare minimum a field called observedGeneration should be introduced to match the metadata.generation field after reconciliation.

Why is this needed:
This will help identify when the latest changes to a certain resource are picked by the controller.
