Currently, if you're tagged in a comment, your only way to respond is by creating a new comment. In cases where someone is simply tagging you to share information, you have two options: either acknowledge it by adding a new comment or read it without responding. However, adding a comment just to acknowledge the message results in additional activity on the ticket.

Introducing a feature that allows you to react to a comment such as giving it a Thumbs Up would be a great improvement. It would provide a simple way to acknowledge the comment without cluttering the ticket with unnecessary replies.
