BR2_TARGET_UBOOT_BOARD_DEFCONFIG is set to midas_defconfig in the defconfig file.
This results in a build error.
I've checked menuconfig, and the description for that field says this should be without the _defconfig suffix. After changing that, the build runs fine.
Was this maybe a change in a more recent version of buildroot? I'm not sure which one to use, the more recent ones don't build because some feature was deprecated. I've just taken some stable release from the end of 2018.
(I can't test if the build works, because I still can't boot my device using any of the images provided, after fastboot boot the device disconnects, but then immediately reconnects in fastboot mode. u-boot and fastboot seem to work though. I've flashed the u-boot image from the blog post, but I can try to flash the u-boot build with buildroot, then try to boot the images again if you think that could work)
