Is this feature related to a problem? Please describe.

As a Forem Admin, I want to measure the performance of my custom pages in a reliable means, on platform, so I have complete confidence and control over the data.

Describe the solution you’d like

  • Track page views for custom pages, and include in the page_views table
  • Add a page_id column on the page_views table, to optionally track page_id (where the pageview was for a custom page).

Additional Context

  • We typically only track pageviews in the database when the data is used in the app itself - analytics use cases are handled by third parties. We envisage using this data in the core application in the future, but also have immediate analytics needs.
