How can I move the header to left on even numbered pages in twoside mode?

I'm using Kaobook in two sided mode with some minor modifications.

I would, however, like to move the headers on the left (even numbered) pages to start with the text area.

Any ideas how I an achieve this?

Upon researching a bit, I followed the instructions here and added the \layout option. The header for even pages renders above the body, but I'd like to push this left to be consistent with the odd pages.

How can I achieve this?
