Weird Naming problem with HomeAssistant discovery

G'day!

Not sure if it's a MQTT-IO thing or a HA thing.
In the last little while, the devices that I have set up in MQTT-IO have been renamed in Home Assistant.

Initially, the devices were setup in the yml file to have a name as follows:

• name: back_corner_sprinklers
  module: rpi
  pin: 6
  retain: yes
  ha_discovery:
  name: Back Corner Sprinklers

It used to show up in Home Assistant as a device named "Front Garden Sprinklers".

Suddenly, the name(s) is(are) changing in Home Assistant to the following (forgive the image but it's the best way to display the results):

I've tried renaming the entities and even deleting the whole MQTT message in the broker and starting again.
It works for a while and then suddenly, it's overwritten back to the mqtt_io_back_corner_sprinklers.

I should also post the resultant json mqtt info from the above config in the file.

It appears in the second "name" entry and in the manufacturer section but I've no idea why it's adding the additional mqtt_io to the front of it all of a sudden. It never did before.
Anyone else encountered this? If so, which end of the sausage is it...HA or the update of MQTT-IO?
