Smoke view vector demonstration

Hello, your consideration would be highly appreciated.

The attached picture shows my entire simulation domain. I am trying to examine the velocity vectors in the x and y directions from the top view (z-plane). However, due to the fine mesh resolution of the domain — as evident in the attached image — the velocity vectors are not clearly visible in Smokeview. I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the input file settings to provide a clearer illustration of the velocity vectors in a high-resolution mesh.

There are various options you can set in Dialogs->File/Bound Settings->Slice->Settings menu including scaling and skipping vectors.
