FINOS internal podcast introducing Karl to the community, but more importantly talking about how banks should be working together to understand how to use generative AI internally (best practices & interacting with regulators), particularly when it comes to emerging software licenses which might govern whether or not code scanning tools can train on particular repos. I also discuss how these conversations are similar to industry collaborative conversations around cloud usage generally and open source particularly, and the importance of compliant open source collaboration in figuring out best practices
