Forgot to add that attending the 9/26 meeting also were: Aaron Reed - DFS |
Flagging this as a potential pain point @aaronreed708. It's manageable with strong process around meeting disemination. I see there are detailed minutes, but couldn't comment on how complete they are. While the position of FINOS in the quote is valid, it's also imperitive both the using teams and OS contributors can see everything they need to. CDN and cache is also interesting, I've recently done work there in my demo site - select Internet Usage, desktop only for the map - below is an example of data loading from the CDN. Performance is critcal to A11y and I've done quite a bit to optimise here. The whole thing is 175kb. |
I also would like a larger availability of recordings, but it is a FINOS policy. We've been able to get one-off recordings from FINOS when we had presentations that we wanted to capture so that we didn't lose the educational information. But it certainly requires an exception from the organization. Whenever we do get access to the recordings, we have to get permission from all of the meeting participants before the release. I believe that they want to promote candid discussion and feel that participants may not say what needs to be said if they know that the recordings could be released. As part of capturing minutes, I'm supposed to get permission from any participant that I quote directly. |
