How to zoom into a particular node?

when i embed a Tiddymap view into a tiddler, the default zoom is to fit the whole graph into the widget.. which for a large graph can make it very tiny.

is there an option to open the widget and zoom into a particular node?

TiddlyMap isn't super geared to be able to do this. In the upper right hand corner of the maps is a "magnifying lens" button which can be used to focus on a specific tiddler. It uses a tm-focus-node even to do so, which unfortunately can only be caught by a graph if that even is emitted from within the graph widget, and TiddlyMap does not provide a means of putting buttons and such inside widgets. Only the ones it has hardcoded.

This is also something that might be hackable, but it still requires an event firing, which means whatever mechanism you're using to open the graph would need to somehow queue up that even too. I'm not sure how to do that. Best you could do is make that little magnifying glass zoom in on some predetermined node rather than bring up its search popup.
