No particular reason :). Except maybe in the case where one may just want to use the system-wide installed compilers and finds annoying that heavy compiler packages get re-installed in the conda env? I have no strong opinion for / against adding it. |
I had error building tests relying on Ubuntu system libs. |
I was also thinking we could try pixi for this repository. |
