Some suggestions for changes which would provide information to affected users:
add a note to the changelog, similar to the Breaking Changes section for v1.36.0
refresh the website changelog so it has an entry for v1.36.2. If I load MultiViewer on a Windows machine then in-app changelog does have a v1.36.2 section, but the website currently doesn't
consider some mechanism to handle this situation more gracefully. eg not updating on deprecated OS and using in-app messaging instead. Obviously it'll break at some point later, and there might be a long tail of support queries, but updating to a broken app with no messaging isn't great either

I had v1.36.1 of MultiViewer installed on macOS 10.15.7, which updated itself on app launch to v1.36.2, and then cannot start up:

This seems to stem from updating Electron from 32.0.2 to 33.0.1, which dropped support for macOS 10.15, because Chromium did so in version 129. So far so predictable for an old OS, so I can't grumble too much.
