Bird animation continues after fail state #3

Steps to Reproduce

Open https://excaliburjs.com/sample-excalibird/
Move bird into pipe or ground (much harder to replicate) while wing is animating.

Expected Result

The animation to freeze.

Actual Result

The animation continues until it finishes. It doesn't loop.

Environment

I don't think there's an environmental impact here, but for reference:

browsers and versions:
Chrome Version 129.0.6668.101 (Official Build) (x86_64).
Safari Version 17.6 (19618.3.11.11.5)
operating system: macOS 14.6.1
Excalibur versions: n/a
