Currently, using the contrib's provided inventory command results in output like this:

log of wood A decent-sized wooden log. Not so big you can't carry it.
log of wood A decent-sized wooden log. Not so big you can't carry it.
log of wood A decent-sized wooden log. Not so big you can't carry it.
log of wood A decent-sized wooden log. Not so big you can't carry it.
log of wood A decent-sized wooden log. Not so big you can't carry it.

This is obviously less than ideal.
Describe the solution you'd like
It would be much more useful if objects that share the same key and description were compressed into a single line, more like core Evennia's behavior:
You are carrying:
8 logs of wood A decent-sized wooden log. Not so big you can't carry it.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Obviously this could be customized by implementing your own inventory command, but it does make the contrib's command fairly useless for any game which has any kind of standardized objects.
