[Pattern Launcher] Can't add a new pattern

The bug

Adding a new launcher pattern no longer works. Not sure when this started happening, but now after entering a new pattern, the "Select app" menus appears underneath a small "Loading..." message box and then I'm returned to my clock without being able to select an app for the pattern. I ran the app while connected to the IDE but unfortunately no error messages appeared. Previously saved patterns launch as expected.

The Pattern Launcher is a wonderful app--thank you very much in advance for fixing this issue!

I can confirm—just ran into it today.

Edit: The problem doesn't seem to reproduce in the emulator. But the emulator is 2v25 and my physical Bangle is 2v26.

This hack worked for me -- stops E.showMenu(...) from doing its internal magic for "back" handling...

I poked around, but couldn't muster a more elegant solution hack; I think there's been changes to menu/back with the 2v26 update? ..like shifting from menu-entry "back" to top-left burger?
The PTLaunch App code hasn't changed in 3-4 years anyways, according to GitHub. I am quite new to Bangle btw!

It seems that the BTN press, to accept the drawn pattern, is triggering the "back" action of the main menu loop. This is despite E.showMenu(); being called as part of "Add Pattern" -- which looks like its intent is to clear listeners.

I also tried hacking in forced button-watch handler clearing, but without any luck -- maybe that means the button handling is taking place at a lower level than E.showMenu(...)?

...or maybe it's E.showMenu(selectAppMenu); that's triggering the main menu "back" action. #idk
