Hi @M2RE

Thank you for your request... That would be nice, but highly unlikely, unless you can find me a good, professional translation source.

Generally speaking, PDFs aren't that great for text processing. Markdown is best; HTML will work, as will JSON or XML.

In any case, please send me the PDF you have and I'll have a look.

I don't know how to attach PDF in this section. Sent a link to dropbox.

Hm... looks interesting.
Have you compared it with the English for accuracy? Is it complete?
It looks like it might still be copyrighted as well - please look into that.

you would have to search by the title, but of the Spanish one.

Hi @M2RE ,

Any discoveries about this source, or can we close the issue/request?

So far. The editor of the book(Editorial Caribe) is nowhere to be found. The PDF is an extract of just the dictionary part of the original book because the original book is 1,000+ Pages, that one is 200ish. The editor of the book is Editor Caribe/Betania. But more recently Thomas Nelson is selling a book with the same appearance and everything but some changes to it in the cover page instead of editorial caribe, it says Thomas Nelson. Its a very difficult one. I am digging into this. I've search hundreds of publications from Thomas Nelson, Editorial Caribe, A&W Electronic etc. entry in copyright page from goverment and I don't find copyright for the original one. Specially in 2002 since thats the year in the document.

Hm..., good try. Besides the copyright, there is also the format to consider: it's very hard to extract properly formatted text from PDFs. That's why I prefer an XML or markdown source.

I can brush off to convert to MD. I've compared some of the entries to the english one and is good. It uses the Reina Valera 1960 bible translation. But if its not possible that's fine.

If you're going to try something, see if you can get it into this format:

"H30": {
	"word": "אביהו",
	"translit": "'Abiyhuw'",
	"pronunc": "ab-ee-hoo'",
	"def": "from {H1} and {H1931}; father (i.e. worshipper) of Him (i.e. God); Abihu, a son of Aaron:—Abihu."
},
"H31": {
	"word": "אביהוד",
	"translit": "'Abiyhuwd",
	"pronunc": "ab-ee-hood'",
	"def": "from {H1} and {H1935}; father (i.e. possessor) of renown; Abihud, the name of two Israelites:—Abihud."
},
"H32": {
	"word": "אביהיל",
	"translit": "'Abiyhayil",
	"pronunc": "ab-ee-hah'-yil",
	"def": "or (more correctly) @@'Abiychayil@@ %%ab-ee-khah'-yil%%; from 1 and {H2428}; father (i.e. possessor) of might; Abihail or Abichail, the name of three Israelites and two Israelitesses:—Abihail."
}

"G1": {
	"word": "α",
	"translit": "a",
	"pronunc": "al'-fah",
	"def": "of Hebrew origin; the first letter of the alphabet; figuratively, only (from its use as a numeral) the first:—Alpha. Often used (usually @@an@@, before a vowel) also in composition (as a contraction from {G427}) in the sense of privation; so, in many words, beginning with this letter; occasionally in the sense of union (as a contraction of {G260})."
},
"G2": {
	"word": "Ααρων",
	"translit": "Aaron",
	"pronunc": "ah-ar-ohn'",
	"def": "of Hebrew origin ({H175}); Aaron, the brother of Moses:—Aaron."
},
"G3": {
	"word": "Αβαδδων",
	"translit": "Abaddon",
	"pronunc": "ab-ad-dohn'",
	"def": "of Hebrew origin ({H11}); a destroying angel:—Abaddon."
},
"G4": {
	"word": "αβαρης",
	"translit": "abares",
	"pronunc": "ab-ar-ace'",
	"def": "from {G1} (as a negative particle) and {G922}; weightless, i.e. (figuratively) not burdensome:—from being burdensome."
}

{linked entries}
@@bold@@
%%italics%%

But, again, if the copyright is still applicable, then we can't do much :-(
