Enable installing from GitHub

Now that the repos are open, we can stop being insane and publishing to NPM whenever we need to make a small update to the package.

Instead, we should be able to install from github, without having to include the dist dir in git.

Despite adding prepack and prepare scripts, still cant get yarn to build the package on install
