WiFi not connecting through Quickshell II + Performance options not applying (Arch Linux, Galaxy Book 2) #2600

Description

Step 1. Before you submit

  • I have read the Troubleshooting and Usage pages.
  • I've successfully updated to the latest version following the guidance.
  • I've successfully updated the system packages to the latest.
  • I've ticked the checkboxes without reading their contents

Step 2. Quick diagnose info

I am using the dotfiles as a user setup, without a local clone of the repo,
so I cannot run ./diagnose directly.

System: Arch Linux
Device: Samsung Galaxy Book 2
WM: Hyprland
Quickshell: quickshell-git (latest AUR)
Dotfiles: latest commit from end_4 / illogical-impulse

Step 3. Describe the issue

WiFi not connecting through the dot

All WiFi networks appear normally in the Quickshell II WiFi widget.
But when I select a network, type the password and press “Connect”, nothing happens.

The only way to connect is outside the dot (terminal or another UI).
So the dot is not submitting the connection request to NetworkManager.

Performance options not working

The performance selector opens, but switching between modes does nothing.
None of the performance profiles apply.

If logs are needed, I can provide journalctl output or QS logs.

Reminder

  • I agree that it's usually impossible for others to help me without my logs.
