Question: Animated Wallpaper Support (GIF/Video) + Issues with swww

First of all, thanks a lot for the END 4 dotfiles — everything works great, smooth setup and really clean configuration! 🚀

The only thing I found missing is support for animated wallpapers (even simple GIFs or videos would be amazing).

I tried using tools like swww, but every time I do, I either get a black screen or some desktop elements disappear under the wallpaper (for example, the desktop clock).

So my questions are:

• Is there any plan or possibility to add animated wallpaper support directly in the setup?
• Does anyone know a temporary solution or workaround to get GIFs/videos working as wallpapers without breaking other desktop elements?

Any advice would be super appreciated. 🙏

its a quickshell shell i expect the bg to be quickshell so you would have to edit the hypr thing i thinks so it only runs like the quickshell bar and not the background although they may be all like one thing but if not then just edit it to only do some quickshell widgets that you want

swww-daemon is fighting in WW3 agains quickshell
