Some projects don't use DTD, but instead use XML Schema. It would be nice to be able to support this directly. Partial support may be enough, if we can agree on a useful subset.

Adam, can you please explain to Jan how you did the DTD-to-Xonomy transformation, so that he could do something similar with XSchema?

@jan-niestadt have a look at this script
https://github.com/elexis-eu/lexonomy/tree/master/website/libs/xonomy-tools

If you can add function similar to parseDTD to provide structure of XML elements and attributes, you can use it in struct2xema, struct2xonomy to create custom editor.
