Phase one will focus on adding an explicit connection between rules and dashboards. Users will be able to configure a dashboard they wish to appear on the alert details page for a given rule type. Additionally, users will be able to specify custom routing logic to display specific dashboards based on matching specific rule data fields.
This phase will also be used to begin research and development of an api to identify relevant dashboards, outside of what is preconfigured by the users, and lens visualizations within dashboards.
Phase 2 will focus on utilizing the research and development from phase 1 to add links to recommended dashboards, in additional to user specified preconfigured dashboards.
Research and development will also begin on bringing visualizations directly into the alert details page
In Phase 3 will focus on continuing to bring visualizations directly into the alert details page, this time from dashboard recommendations as well as dashboards attached to the rule. We'll also begin exploring utilizing these visualizations to create new and navigate to new dashboards, where users can continue their investigation. Finally, we're begin work on adding the same functionality to the Incident Details page.
