Parallel reading and comparizon of books/papers

I think Thorium is lacking on the parallel reading option for scientific and linguistic comparisons. We need to be able to open say 2 separate books with similar contents and to be able to scroll in both synchronously for comparison and investigation into subjects. Of course this is directed to the desktop version, where one has screen real-estate and where real work is done. Mobile devices, including tablets, can hardly profit from such an option.

Hello, I am moving this interesting topic to a Github "discussion" as this is not an immediately-actionable issue (e.g. bug report or straight-forward feature request), this needs more exploring :)
