I've had a few emails about a Tint and Shade Generator Figma plugin over the last year. Just received this today from Daniele in Australia:

Hi, I love your tool you’ve created,

I wish you had that exact tool to generate shades straight into Figma, with squares ready to be used into a UI KIT.

Thanks,
Daniele

He subsequently told me the exact math is the missing factor in the various current Figma plugin options available now. For those who don't need/want the exact formula that the Tint & Shade Generator provides (i.e. 10 each of tints and shades using a very particular formula), check out one of below Figma plugins to see if they meet your needs:

  1. Color Shades (this is the one Daniele uses)
  2. Tints and Shades
  3. Color Designer

Hi! If this is needed I can help with a Figma plugin for it.

Hi @stefann01, Figma plugins are outside my wheelhouse so you're welcome to own it. My only requirement is that it utilize the calculation method we use here. I don't know much about what other functionality users might want.

I'd be happy to link to it from the credits area on the About page and give you attribution.
