Welcome to the identity-trust wiki!

This page is intended to collect valuable information revolving around the IATP specification. While the specifications are the principal topic of this wiki, and most of the information here will likely revolve around that, we understand that there might be questions "left and right".

FAQ

What is "IATP"?

IATP = Identity And Trust Protocols. It's the name of the specification.

Can I serve multiple connectors with one CredentialService ("wallet")?

Yes, this is possible. While the IATP specification doesn't explicitly state anything about that, it is a key aspect of a decentralized infrastructure. This could be particularly useful when companies operate multiple connectors, but want to limit the exposure of a Credential Service to the internet. In that scenario, a single CredentialService would simply serve multiple holders (=connectors). It should be noted, that every connector is still identified through its own participant-ID.
